Carnot Game Description
Carnot Game is an engaging game centered on the Carnot Cycle, where the participant must alternate among three thermal sources (hot, insulator, and cold) to optimize the work applied to the piston within a cylinder. The objective is to maintain the piston functioning in the ideal Carnot cycle, executing transitions between sources at the correct moments to prevent the cylinder from exploding or freezing. The nearer the player is to the Carnot cycle, the greater their score and advancement.
The player must click the button to toggle between the thermal sources of the system, remembering to execute the transitions at the appropriate times to avoid the piston seizing or the cylinder detonating. The Carnot cycle comprises four thermodynamic processes.
